Preschool Ministry
The First Baptist Preschool ministry welcomes all children ages birth through Kindergarten. We are open 15 minutes prior to each service or activity for parents to sign children in.
The preschool ministry is staffed with a wonderful group of people who have been trained to minister to the needs of preschoolers and their families. You can be assured each time your child is in our care, they will be learning Bible truths through age appropriate Bible stories, games, crafts, activities and music.
Safety is our priority through:
Teacher & Caregiver Security
- Two or more teachers are assigned to each room.
- Every adult in the department has their references checked and a criminal background check completed.
- Teachers wear name tags letting parents know who the approved adults are in each assigned class.
Child Security
- Children are assigned a security number.
- Parents need to ask for the security tag when the child is left in our care.
- Security tags must be returned during pick up in order for the child to be released.
Paging Parents
- If your child should need you during a class, a Preschool Staff member will come notify you.
- If your child should need you during a Worship service, your child's security number will be displayed in the front of the Worship Center in the display boxes on either side of the stage.
General Safety Parents Can Assist In
- Hand your written instructions directly to the teacher upon arrival to clearly communicate with all teachers throughout the morning.
- (Ex: bottle preparation, potty training needs or allergy alerts.)
- Parents label everything your child brings to Church with your child's name.
- (Ex: diaper bag, bottles, pacifiers, sippy cups, diaper wipe containers, Bible, etc..)
